The Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Division of Health Care Finance (KDHE-DHCF) is amending the Kansas Medicaid State Plan. The eligibility section of the Health Homes program, OneCare Kansas SMI, will be expanded to include broader diagnoses of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depressive disorders. Additional Medicaid members with severe mental illness will be added to the program.
The proposed effective date for the state plan amendment (SPA) is April 1, 2021.
